Claude Hampton"Hamp" Cooney 70 of Lonoke departed this life October 18, 2019.
Hamp was born September 14, 1949 to Claude and Mae Delois Cooney in Carlisle AR. He was a
member of the Lonoke Church of Christ.
Hamp is preceded in death by his wife Linda Cooney, father Claude Cooney, son Silas Cooney,
brother Benny Cooney and sister Lisa Cooney Dodson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Mother Mae Delois Cooney of Lonoke, four daughters Theresa
Glason (Kevin) of Little Rock, Latoya Burley of Little Rock, Keysha Cooney of Little Rock, Yvette
Houston (Andre) of Texas, and Son Craig Whitehead (ShaRonda). Three brothers Michael
Cooney, Charles Cooney and Clem (Karen) Cooney all of Carlisle and sister and caregiver
Jacquelyn Williams of Lonoke,
Seven grandchildren Sikeyia Burley, Michael Burley, Alexcia Burley, Jasmine Glason, Dakota
Whitehead, CJ Whitehead and Addison Houston and a host of other relatives and friends.
