Dianna
Couch
June 2, 1958 – September 11, 2022
Dianna was born June 2, 1958 to the late Warren "Red" Cole and the late Anna Louise
Herron Cole of Lonoke. She was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday,
September 11, 2022.
Known to family and friends as just "Diane" she was quiet and unassuming growing up,
but soon became a jokester and comedienne to most everyone who knew her,
especially her close friends. She was a graduate of Lonoke High School, but also
attended Carver Elementary School in her early years.
After high school, Diane worked at the Kellwood Sewing Factory in Lonoke for many
years, until it closed. She then began working with children at the Enchantment Day
Care Center and Lonoke Head Start until her health began to fail. Diane had a real
love for children and was always nurturing and caring to every child she met. She
would sometimes bring a child home to comb their hair, and often bought clothes,
shoes and toys for them. Diane loved holidays and made sure the children in her care
had special treats to take home with them after leaving the daycare.
She was a long time member of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, serving as an
Usher for many of those years. Diane met her husband, the late Charlie "William"
Couch, III, of Carlisle, AR at New Jerusalem. To this union was born one child, Ciscely
Marshae Couch, Diane's pride and joy, whom she gave unconditional love everyday of
her life.
Diane leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Ciscely of Lonoke, a special
daughter, Sharon Kay Walker Jones of Memphis, TN , two step-sons, Tyrone and
Orlando Canady both of Carlisle, AR, three sisters, Deborah Dunn, Beverly Reed
(Harold Reed, Sr.) and Barbara Cole, all of Lonoke. She also leaves to morn her
passing four brothers, Larry Cole (Emma), Steve Cole both of Lonoke, Rickie Cole
(Kathy) of Little Rock, AR, and Michael Cole (Sharonda) of Lonoke. She leaves also
three aunts, Juanita Herron Holloway of Lonoke, Azzie Cole Featherstone (David) of
Little Rock, and Wayne Darlene Cole of Youngstown, OH.
Also, Diane leaves a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and special
friends to cherish her memory.
