Eric was born on August 13, 1979 to Barnestine Montgomery (Lionel), and Joe Shepherd (Erma), in little Rock, Arkansas. He accepted Christ at an early age.
Eric is survived by his parents, his wife, Tiffany Edmondson, his sons, Asher and Arie Edmondson, daughters, Arius Edmondson, Sydney Stepps, and Arin (Blake) Porter, sisters Letizia (Ken) Harris, Michelle Montgomery, Nikeisha (Mike) Ramey, Jacqueline Austin, Kanderia Mitchell and Danqueisha McClain, and brother, Joe (Amanda) Shepherd, Jr.
