Reflections of Life

Helen Maxine Thrift, a longtime resident of Carlisle,
Arkansas passed away December 4, 2024 at Baptist Health
Medical Center in North Little Rock; Maxine, as she was
known to all, was born August 20, 1944 in Pleasant Plains
Arkansas.
.
Maxine worked many years as an LPN at Woodruff County
Nursing Home in McCrory AR and Chambers Health and
Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle AR.
Maxine was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church
and was a board member of the Mission of Hope.
She was a sweet loving person that never met a stranger or
passed on an opportunity to witness of the goodness of
God.
Maxine truly loved helping others and will be sorely missed
by everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband J R Thrift,
parents, William Frank and Francis Luvena Zigler, two
brothers Carl Zigler and Wayne Zigler, two sisters Conchica
Zigler and Peggy Zigler Braswell.
Maxine leaves to cherish her memories, four sisters, Patsy
Lackie, Janice Weeks, Genny Ferrell and Prudie Loftus, one
brother Jimmy Zigler as well as a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday December 7, 2024 1:30pm at
Immanuel Baptist Church Carlisle Brother Bill Ricks presiding with a
visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Carlisle
Cemetery.
