James R Lackie 82, entered eternal rest Monday August 11, at Lonoke Health and Rehab in Lonoke AR. James, "Red" as he was known to family and friends, was born January 29, 1943 in Jacksonville AR to the late George and Susan Mixon Lackie. James married Patsy Zigler and was residing in Carlisle.

James served his country for over 23 years in the Army and the Army National Guard where he achieved the rank of Staff Sargent.

Red loved the Lord Jesus and was of the Lutheran faith.

Preceeded in death by his parents George and Susan Lackie Daughters Krystal Lackie and Sonya Herring; Brothers Jack and Billy Lackie; Sister Karen Sue Lee. Left to cherish his memories: Sons Richard Lackie of Cabot, Shawn Lackie (Tammy) of Cabot, Gary Lackie (Beth) Beebe, William Davis of Hot Springs, Daughters Misty Haymaker of Carlisle, Tracy Thomas of Cabot, and Angela Farmer of North Carolina, Brother Robert Lackie of Kansas City, KS, 21 Grandchildren ,14 Great Grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and Friends
