Jesse J Nellan was born March 18, 1942, in England, AR to the late Katherine Dodson Nellums Holloway and Willie Nellums. He accepted Christ at an early age. He served his country for 22 years, in the U.S. Army. He also served in the National Guard. He also dedicated years of life to the Arkansas Highway Department and Cole's Bonding Company.
He is preceded in death by his mother Katherine Dodson Nellums Holloway and his father Willie Nellums, his brother Daniel Nellums Sr., Willie Nellums, his sister Zimmie Jean Mitchell.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife Annette Davis Nellan, his lovely daughters Natlie Nellan, Krystal Nellan (Tim Miller) and Kalisha Nellan (Lawrence Goodloe), as well as his bonus daughter Crystal Owens. His sons Jesse Nellan III and Frederick Nellan. He is also survived by his granddaughters Destiny Nellan, Trinitee Nellan, Aniyah Adams, Makhila Roy, India Goodloe, Bella Nellan, and Brielle Nellan, as well as his grandsons Jesse Nellan IV, Christian Johnson, and Jayden Nellan.
He also leaves to mourn his siblings Matthew Nellums, Arthur (Freda) Nellums, Thomas (Marie) Nellums, Cassie Mae (Jim) Freeman, Gladys (Elmer) Mayfield, Shirley Jean Nellums, and Wayne Nellums. He is also survived by his brother Victor (Francis) Holloway.
