To the sacred Memory of the Late
Brother Joe Edward Sproling
Joe Edward Sproling, the son of the late Emanuel and Angelene Sproling, was born October 7, 1951 at Biscoe, Arkansas.
At an early age he professed his faith in Christ at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Biscoe, Arkansas. He attended school at Biscoe and lived there until 1985, after which he moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas and resided there with his brother Frederick until November 2018. Due to declining health that year he was admitted to Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. Then in early 2019 he was moved to "The Blossoms Rehabilitation Center" of Fort Smith where he resided until his death November 7, 2023.
Joe was an excellent artist and an avid reader who also enjoyed working and solving challenging crossword puzzles. He was also interested in politics and current events.
He was preceeded in death Carl and Jerry Sproling of Biscoe, Arkansas and brother Charles and sister Ocie of Denver, CO.
He leaves to mourn his passing – four sisters – Mrs. Flora Pinkney, Biscoe AR; Carolyn Robinson, Conway, AR; Sandra Sproling and Brenda Myers of Jacksonville, AR; Three brothers – Lawrence and Marshall Sproling of Biscoe, AR: and Fred Sproling of Fort Smith, AR; Five nieces, five nephews, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
A family viewing was held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 5pm at Colonial Southern Services Grand Prairie Chapel in Carlisle, Arkansas. Graveside services were conducted by Colonial Southern Services on Saturday November 18, 2023 at 2pm with interment at Harris Cemetery in Biscoe, Arkansas.
