John Mark Yielding

March 11, 1954 – June 27, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Mark Yielding, who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at the age of 72.

John was a hardworking, genuine, and kind-hearted man whose life was defined by his love for his family and his unwavering work ethic. He never met a stranger and was known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. His ability to make others laugh and feel welcome left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Above all else, John loved his family. He is survived by his two children, Summer Yielding and Jonathon Yielding, who will forever cherish the love, guidance, and memories he gave them. He also leaves behind his beloved grandson, Legend McGee, his only grandchild, who lovingly knew him as Papaw. Being Papaw was one of John's greatest joys. He absolutely adored Legend, and the bond they shared was filled with laughter, love, and treasured moments that will forever be remembered.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Mae Morgan, Earl Yielding, and his siblings.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that John's legacy of hard work, kindness, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.
