Life Journey

Keith L. Sawyer, 64, of Lonoke, Arkansas, peacefully departed this life on March 11, 2026. He was born on February 1, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Ivester Shavers and George Sawyer.

Keith was educated in the England Public School System and proudly graduated from England High School in England, Arkansas. Throughout his life, he was known as a hardworking man who dedicated many years to the construction industry, where his strong work ethic and dependable nature were evident to all who worked alongside him.

Keith was a kind-hearted and compassionate person who truly never met a stranger. He had a genuine concern for others and was known for always checking on family and friends, even during times when he himself was not feeling well. His selfless spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

In his spare time, Keith enjoyed the simple joys of life. He especially loved spending time with his family, sharing laughter, stories, and memorable moments. He was also a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan and could often be found cheering enthusiastically for his team.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Ivester Shavers and George Sawyer; three brothers, Elgie Sanders, Brian Sawyer, and Jerrell Rice; and one sister, Tina Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving children, Jaylen Sawyer, Latonya Boston, and Labarbara Sawyer; his brothers, Ray Sawyer, Clint Sawyer, and Stacy Sawyer; his sisters, Demetria (Efrem) Jones, Shirley Sanders, Carla White, and Turkessaa Sawyer; two grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Keith's kindness, warmth, and caring heart will truly be missed, but the love he shared and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him
