Kenneth Lashawn Gooden Sr., born June 30, 1974, to George Gooden Sr. and Jewel Gooden. He passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Springhill

Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Shawn was a father, a son, and a friend to many. His presence brought

warmth and laughter to everyone who knew him. He could tell a story

in a way that made you laugh until you cried. He was very handy and

could rig, fix, build, and even break anything. From a very young age he

was able to destroy his toys faster than anyone in the house.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Kenneth

Lashawn Gooden Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; his parents, George

and Jewel Gooden of Lonke, AR. His sisters: Ewonda Baker

(Brian) of NLR, AR, Valarie Washington of Cabot, AR, Christilar

Gooden of Dallas, TX., Tora Burton of Lonoke, AR, and

Sherece Tremble of Jacksonville, AR.. He is also remembered

by his best friend for life, Tina Gooden; stepchildren Belinda

Williams, Brittany Smith, Brandon Smith, LaCarl Smith, and Kore

Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins,

family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Shawn was preceded in death by his sister Arnetta Jean Reed

and his brother George Gooden Jr.

Shawn's life and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all

who loved him.
