Life's Journey

Lawrence Edward Sullivan of Carlisle, Ar.  was born April 14,1946 to the late Thomas J. and Minnie Sullivan, in Dewitt, Arkansas. He transitioned from life to eternity  on Friday, August 7, 2020 at home with family.

Lawrence served our country during the Vietnam War by enlisting in the United States Navy. He was awarded The Vietnam Service Medal, National Defence Service Medal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Returning home Lawrence used his knowledge gained in the N avy to further a career in diesel mechanics.

He was preceded in death by his father and brothers Thomas E. Sullivan, Jr. ,Earnest Sullivan ; and son Dewayne E. Sullivan.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory his mother Minnie Sullivan; wife Ruby I. Sullivan; two daughters Christy M. Fimple, Julie I. Smith; one son Jason L. Sullivan ;two brothers Burnice Newman, Lester Sullivan ; four sisters Rose Sullivan, Lorrie Sullivan, Joyce Mahoney and Minnie Sullivan;  and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
