Leo
Pearson
October 5, 1951 – August 9, 2020
Leo Pearson, Sr. was born on October 5,1951, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. He was the oldest son of the "Late" Searcy Pearson, Sr. and the "Late" Anner Smith - Pearson and was raised in Brinkley and Carlisle, Arkansas.
Leo received his education in the Brinkley School District. He professed a Hope in Christ at an early age.
After 25 years of being a faithful and dedicated employee, Leo retired from Riviana Foods, in Carlisle, Arkansas.
Leo was a very outgoing and fun loving guy. He loved his family and people. He was an awesome "non-paid" standup comedian who had a witty sense of humor. He always made people laugh with jokes that only he could tell!! He enjoyed gathering with family, playing spades and "talking trash!" fishing with his boys, his Uncle Jonas and watching TV.
Leo met and married the love of his life, Renota Jones, in 1997. Together they raised a loving blended family; Shun, Leo Jr., LaTrina, Chad, Patrick, Johnathan.
Leo was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, until he received his wings.
Leo will be missed tremendously by his loved ones: his loving wife, Renota Pearson of Jacksonville, AR; his children, Leo Pearson Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Patrick Pearson (Quenisha) of Lonoke, AR, Chad Pearson (Tierria) of Lonoke, AR; Johnathan Thomas (Marie) of Jacksonville, AR, LaTrina Pearson (Adas) of Springdale, AR; his brother: Searcy Pearson, Jr. of Worcester, MA; his sisters: Helen Baker (Robert), Edna Holloman (Fred), Novella Walls, all of Carlisle, AR, Rosie Pearson, Janice Jackson (Bobby) of Fresno, CA; Fifteen Grandchildren, Fourteen Fourteen Nieces and Nephews; his Aunts: Rosetta Pearson and Boycella Pearson both of Tulsa, OK; his Uncles: Ray Smith of North Little Rock, AR and Tom Pearson of Tulsa, OK; A Host of Special Relatives and Friends.
Leo fought a good fight of faith. Now he is resting in Jesus.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
