Obituary

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Ms. Linda Faye Metcalf was born on March 20, 1960, in Wabbaseka, Arkansas, to the late Willie Burton, Sr. and Pearly B. Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and Mother-n-law Sara Metcalf.

Linda was a proud graduate of the Wabbaseka School District.

She confessed Christ and was baptized at the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. Linda spent over 20yrs in the DeValls Bluff community where she raised her children. Linda worked for Riceland Foods in Stuttgart, Tyson in Pine Bluff, worked as a Dietary Aid at the Hazen Nursing Home and ran her own business ironing clothes.

Linda enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. In 2012 she moved to Jacksonville and made her home there until her passing.

She leaves cherishing precious memories, her children, two sons Tylin (Carolyn) Barnes of Jacksonville and Torrey (Amber) Bradley of Maumelle; two daughters, Tanesha Metcalf of Jacksonville and Markesha Metcalf of Little Rock; grandchildren, Tyson Flowers, Haleigh Flowers, Regan Bradley, Imari  "Bray" Metcalf, Haylee Bradley, David "DJ" Rhoden, Aiden Bradley, Zaiden Bradley, Ororo Metcalf, I'yana "Yaya" Rhoden; four brothers, John L. (Rosalyn) Young, Leo (Betty) Anderson, Roy L. (Letonia) Burton, Willie Burton, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends
