OBITUARY
Louella Cooney was born on April 17, 1937, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Alex and Gertrude (Graham) Cooney. She accepted Christ at an early age and remained a faithful member of Macedonia M.B. Church in Carlisle, Arkansas. On the morning of December 22, she gained her wings and entered eternal rest.
Louella was a proud graduate of Carver High School. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman, employed at Remington Arms for 34 years before retiring. Throughout her life, she was active and devoted to serving in her church. She served on the Usher Board, sang in the choir, and worked tirelessly to support evening church programs.
Louella deeply loved her family, especially her son, Theo. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with those she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Gertrude (Graham) Cooney; and brothers, Andrew, Henderson, Claude, and Robert Cooney.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Theodore Washington; his brother, Travis Washington; a special friend, Bobby Bunch; brothers, Clarence Cooney and Luther Cooney; sisters, Annie Cooney and Addie Mae Willis; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
