Sharon Ann Coury was born February 27, 1942 in Detroit Michigan to the late Delmar and Velma Palmer. She lived in Carlisle for 5 years and passed of cancer, after a short battle, on February 10, 2024 at Chambers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Sharon, "Sassy" as she was known to her family and friends, was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt; she had a heart of gold and could light up a room when she entered it. Sassy loved flip flops, Yahtzee, her beloved cat "Sista Kitty" and being with family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Rest in Peace Mom, you are with Jesus now! Sista Kitty loves you!

She leaves to cherish her memory a Daughter, Lorrinda Coury-Stafford and Husband Jesse Stafford of Carlisle, AR. Grandson, Josh Coury of San Diego, CA, Three Sisters, Catherine Beebe of Garden City, MI, Lori Peterson, of Westland, MI and Marian Fisher of Clearwater, FL, Six Nephews, David Converse, Nick Converse, Mike Eck, David Eck all of Michigan and Roland Fisher JR, James Smith both of Florida, Niece, Melinda Fisher of CA, her Cat "Sista Kitty" of Carlisle AR. and Ex-husband David Coury Sr of Sacramento, CA as well as a  host of other relatives and friends.
