In Loving Memory of

Sherry Lynn Miller Hall

December 22, 1941 – March 27, 2026

Sherry Lynn Miller Hall, age 84, entered into eternal rest peacefully at her home on March 27, 2026, following a courageous and graceful battle with cancer. Surrounded by love, she departed this life leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Born on December 22, 1941, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, Sherry was a proud graduate of Stuttgart High School. She continued her education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she attended for two years, carrying with her a bright spirit and a love for learning.

Sherry’s life was beautifully marked by a love story that began in her hometown at O.K. Market, where she met the love of her life, Milton Ray Hall. What started as a simple meeting blossomed into a lifelong partnership rooted in love, faith, and devotion. At just 17 years old, she married Milton, beginning a journey that would take them across the country and beyond.

Through Milton’s career with Western Electric, Sherry embraced a life of adventure and adaptability, making homes and memories in El Paso, Texas; Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Aurora, Illinois; Eatontown, New Jersey; and Langdon, North Carolina. Their travels also led them to the South Pacific island of Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands—a place that captured Sherry’s heart and imagination.

The Marshall Islands held a special place in her soul, often described by Sherry as “heaven on earth.” There, she formed treasured, lifelong friendships, including a deeply cherished bond with her dear friend, Tina G. Hocky of Apex, North Carolina. Tina, like so many others, was drawn to Sherry’s radiant smile, gentle spirit, and the genuine warmth she extended to everyone she met.

Above all, Sherry found her greatest joy in her family. As a devoted mother, she created a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. She delighted in simple, beautiful experiences—especially the time spent with her children walking along the shore, gathering seashells and coral, and making memories that will forever be treasured.

Sherry was the embodiment of grace, kindness, and quiet strength. Her presence brought comfort, her smile brought joy, and her love left an indelible mark on all who had the blessing of knowing her.
