Robert Smith 64, was born August 20, 1959 to the late John Henry and

Mildred Smith in Little Rock, AR. .

Robert was a graduate of Lonoke High School and served in the Army

National Guard. He was a carpenter by trade and a devoted father and

friend. He loved spending quality time with his children and

grandchildren. Completing crossword puzzles, coloring, and watching

westerns were a few of his favorite hobbies.

Robert departed this life Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Baptist Health

Medical Center in North Little Rock, AR. He is preceded in death by his

parents, wife Carolyn Smith, son Nathaniel Polite, two brothers Larry and

Will Smith, and sister Evelyn Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Avonda Quinn of Lonoke, son

Dexter (Kendra) Polite of Russellville, three brothers Clarence, Jimmy and

Carroll Smith all of Lonoke, sister Emma (Larry) Cole of Lonoke, eight

grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and

friends.
