Legacy of Love

Tameka Lyvette Bland of Carlisle, AR. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her home in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Tameka was preceded in death by her mother Alice Anderson and grandmother Arida Briggs

Tamekas attended Carlisle Public Schools, a graduate of the Class of 1995.  She furthered her education in the field of Nursing, graduating with a bachelor's degree from Phillips Community College in Stuttgart, AR.

Tameka was employed at the Freeway Medical Center, where she worked in the Dialysis Center.

She never met a stranger and loved her family and friends, especially her daughters and granddaughters.

Tameka leaves to cherish her memory her father Tony Bland; two daughters, Jessica Thomas and Arian Phillips; three grand- daughters, Skylen Hobbs, Malaysia Phillips and Rekarri Jackson; a host of aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
