Ms.Vergie Stitts 92 of Lonoke ,Arkansas  was born March  25, 1928 in Homer, Louisiana to Simon Jacobs and Eleanor Davis. Mother Stitts Transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday October 7, 2020.
Mother  was preceded in death by her Husband Hezekiah Stitts, children Vergie Hatton, Robert Thomas,and Caroline Stitts ;brothers Frank Britt and  R.C. Watson
Vergie spent most of her life in North East Arkansas until her health failed and she moved to Lonoke to live with her daughter. She was a Long time Member of the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, were she was baptized and always greeted church family with a warm smile that could light up a room.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Her Children   Rose Abston , Mary Williams, Ivery Thomas, Otis Thomas , Roosevelt Thomas, Willie B. Thomas Brenda Thomas, Johnny Stitts, Hezekiah Stitts III, Chester Stitts ; a host grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
