With hearts filled with love, gratitude, and cherished memories, we celebrate the beautiful life of Mrs. Vicki Gomillion-Davis, of Carlisle, Arkansas, who peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on July 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at Baptist Health Medical Center–North Little Rock.

Vicki was born on December 3, 1948, in Carlisle, Arkansas, to the late Elijah Gomillion and Mae Helen Gomillion. She was blessed with a kind and nurturing spirit that would become the foundation of a life devoted to faith, family, and service to others.

She shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Clifton R. Davis, Sr. Together they built not only a marriage but a home where two families became one through love, compassion, and unwavering commitment. As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Vicki poured herself into those she loved, always placing the needs of others before her own.

A faithful member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle, Vicki lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. She was a proud graduate of Horace Mann High School, Class of 1966, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She later dedicated many years of faithful service to the Carlisle Public School District, where she retired after touching the lives of countless students, families, and coworkers.

Affectionately known as "Aunt Vicki," she was the heart of every family gathering. Whether celebrating holidays, enjoying spirited card games, or simply spending time with those she loved, her presence brought joy, laughter, and togetherness. Her home was more than a house—it was a place of refuge where everyone was welcomed with open arms, heartfelt advice, unconditional love, and a warm meal. She had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Above all, Vicki treasured her family. Her greatest joy was watching her children and loved ones grow, offering wisdom, encouragement, and prayers every step of the way. The legacy she leaves is one of love, resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elijah and Mae Helen Gomillion; her devoted husband, Clifton R. Davis, Sr.; her cherished sons, Carl E. Crutchfield and Clifton R. Davis, Jr.; and her brothers, Tommy Gomillion and Alvin "Van" Toney.

She leaves to forever cherish her precious memories and carry forward her legacy of love: her sons, Rev. Don (Lynn) Crutchfield and Gregory (Fatima) Davis; her daughters, Latonia (Jessie) Walker, Carolyn (Jack) Coleman, Barbara (Al) Harden, and Neta Davis; her sister, Barbara Cooney; her brothers, Carl E. Gomillion, Albert Toney, and Herbert Toney; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were forever blessed by her love.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that her love will continue to live on in every life she touched. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten..
