Viola William Metcalf was born on July 13, 1971 in Brinkley, Arkansas. She
was the daughter of the late John Jacob Williams and the late Brunette
Thomas Williams. Viola accepted Christ at an early age at the St. Paul
M.B. Church, Upper Hill. She is a graduate of Des Arc High School. Also
was a Laundry Supervisor for many years.
Viola enjoyed the time she spent with her family, especially her
grandbabies. She also loved doing crossword puzzles.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; John Jacob Williams Jr. and
Brunette Thomas Williams and a nephew Brandon Tyre Hood.
Viola leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Jonathan Williams
(Jessica) of Little Rock, Tyrus Metcalf (Brooke) of Beebe; one daughter
Carmen Metcalf of Beebe; one granddaughter Marley Baker; two
grandsons Kalani Geans Jr. and Jagger Williams also Baby Karter on the
way. Viola also leaves her three sisters Joyce Williams of Des Arc, Mary
Ann Hood (Vicki) of Hickory Plains and Monica Allen (Clevon) of Carlisle;
two brothers: John J. Williams Jr. (Gracie) of Little Rock and Jessie
Williams (Allyson) of Pine Bluff also have a host of nieces, nephews and
cousins.
