Harold Reed, Sr.

Harold was born in St Louis, MO, the fourth of twelve children, to the late James E. and Mable B.
Reed. He was educated in the public school system of St. Louis, where he excelled in all areas of
study. Harold attended what is now Harris-Stowe State University.
Harold has been married to the lovely Beverly A. Cole-Reed for the past thirty two years.
They have two Children, a son Harold D. Reed Jr and a daughter Chelsea N. Reed
A daughter-in-law Ashley S. Reed and two grandchildren grandson Jalen S.
Kirk and granddaughter Zoie J. Reed
Harold is the proud pastor of The Historic Revelation Church of God in Christ, located in the City of Carlisle.
Harold has been a licensed professional funeral director for over 15 Years.
In August of 2013, Harold realized a dream he held from a child, growing up in St Louis, of owning
his own funeral enterprise. Colonial Southern Enterprises was founded and Harold along with his
family have the distinction of being the only minority owned funeral service provider in Lonoke County. Colonial Southern now has two Chapels in the county to better serve its community and the state of Arkansas.

Ashley S. Reed has served as Assistant Service Coordinator at Colonial Southern Services since 2015. She is the wife of Harold D. Reed, Jr. and mother of their two beautiful children, Jalen and Zoie. She has been employed at the Lonoke Head Start for the past 19 years and is currently the center manager. Dedicated to excellence, Ashley is a licensed Life and Final Expense Insurance Salesperson. She is the Sunday School Superintendent and a devoted member of the Historic Revelation Church of God in Christ.
